Kampala, Uganda (RTN) – Fearless radical human rights activist and aspiring Bungokho South MP, Nangayi Guyson Wanja Wostomu, has lashed out at Kyadondo East MP Hon. Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert aka Bobi Wine calling him selfish and greedy saying he helped Bobi Wine to reorganize People power Movement but he has refused to thank him or even return his calls.

“I really doubt if Bobi wine can make a good president, a leader should listen to everybody but it seems this man is just selfish, greedy and he has a lot of pride.

After looking at all the illegalities that was surrounding people Power Movement I altered him and other leaders of the consequences if he didn’t act but he has not even bothered to thank me or even receive my repeated calls.” Nangayi said.

He went ahead to say that “People Power Movement had no legal team or public office where people could reach out to them. I remember they were using Fire Base as the office to conduct serious political matters but when I altered them in my intention to sue letter, they have started opening offices and having legal teams but Bobi wine is not willing to talk to me” he said.

In October last year, Nangayi Guyson Wanja Wostomu, through M/s Odama & Co, Advocates served People Power Movement led by Kyadondo East MP Hon. Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert aka Bobi Wine with intention to sue letter.

In this document seen by RTN, Mr. Nangayi contented that People Power Movement was becoming popular among many Ugandans especially youths who are desperately yearning for change of government.

Many of these young men and women have high hopes that People Power Movement may give them the change they are yearning for.

However, the Movement was not operating within the legal framework of Uganda and was most likely to be banned and regarded as unlawful society just like the Activists for Change (A4C) political pressure group that was banned in 2012 and declared as   dangerous to peace and order in Uganda.

In this document Mr. Nangayi says People Power Movement was operating as an illegal Organization/Movement without registration, No public office, No legal team, no company/organization constitution, profile and structure or manifesto.

According to the document, the Bungokho South MP aspirant, feared that if People Power Movement was banned in Uganda, the majority of Ugandans would be left in anxiety, despair and uncertainty and for that case this would bring about death, suicide tendencies, physiological trauma, physical and emotional injuries.

He tasked the People Power Movement in the intention to sue letter to adhere to following within seven days or face a two Billion lawsuit.

1.    To director Ugandans the Headquarters or districts offices of people Power Movement

2.    Avail to the public with the Company /Organization registration documents, if not available, tell the public; why the movement have failed or delayed to register.

3.    Avail to the public Company /Organization profile and structure.

4.    Since People power is apolitical Movement, it should avail to the public its manifesto

5.    Avail to the public office telephone contacts, emails, website and office addresses.

6.    HON. KYAGULANYI SSENTAMU ROBERT, publicly declare to Ugandans his administrative position in people Power Movement.

Failure to respond to the above queries, Nangayi Guyson threaten that he would move on to file a law suit in court against the overseer HON. KYAGULANYI SSENTAMU ROBERT and other executive leaders of People Power movement seeking damages worthy UGX 2,000,000,000 (Two Billion Uganda shillings) to the families who have lost their loved ones and sustained severe injuries because of people Power Movement.

The Bungokho South MP aspirant, Nangayi Guyson, in the intention to sue letter threatened that sue Bobi wine on the following grounds;

1.    Despite knowing that registering a political organization in Uganda requires one to make a formal request (in writing) to the Electoral Commission expressing intention and making reservation of the Name, Symbol, Slogans and Colours of any Political Party, Bobi Wine and others illegally and deliberately continued operating a movement with intention to;

a)    Cause anxiety, despair and uncertainty among poor ordinary Ugandans for their selfish interests.

b)    Cause physiological trauma, death, suicide tendencies, physical and emotional injuries.

2.    Running an illegal movement leading to the death of some Ugandans especially in Arua and Kampala.

3.    Being irresponsible and reckless leaders to form a movement just out of excitement after winning of a parliamentary seat.

4.    Lacking proper administrative skills by illegally unveiling to the public what People Power Movement called district coordinators under unregistered Organization.

5.    Being dishonest to Ugandans by not telling them the truth about the illegalities surrounding the registration of People Power Movement with intention to hoodwink Ugandan Citizens for selfish interests.

6.    Failure to publicly declare Bobi Wine’s administrative position in People Power Movement

On Thursday, February 20, 2020 Bobi Wine launched the new People Power head office in Kamwokya, Kampala and this is what Mr. Nangayi says it was because of his intention to sue letter which awakened Bobi Wine and his people power movement to think normal and do things rightly, politically and democratically.

Efforts to reach out to Bobi wine or his spokesman for a comment by press time were fruitless since both them did not answer calls.

Nangayi Guyson Wanja Wostomu, is a human rights activist and aspiring Bungokho South MP in Mbale district where he is wishing to replace State Minister for Trade, Michael Werikhe Kafabusa who previously served as the State Minister for Housing from 2006-2011
