KAMPALA, UGANDA (RTN) -Coronavirus (COVID-19) is a dangerous disease which kills so fast and there is no specific medicine to prevent or treat coronavirus . And since the disease has now reached our neighbourhoods of Kenya and DRC, people living in Uganda should be extra careful.
Coronavirus  (COVID-19) is characterized by mild symptoms including a runny nose, sore throat, cough, and fever. So, if you see someone with a runny nose, sore throat, cough fever
and difficulty breathing (severe cases), please give a distance to such a person and report to health authority.

TO STAY SAFE DO THE FOLLOWING ;
  • Clean hands frequently with alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water
  •  Cover nose and mouth when coughing and sneezing with a tissue or flexed elbow
  • Avoid close contact (1 metre or 3 feet) with anyone with cold or flu-like symptoms
  • Stay home if you are sick, except to get medical care
  • Wear a facemask if you are sick
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces daily. This includes tables, doorknobs, light switches, countertops, handles, desks, phones, keyboards, toilets, faucets, and sink.
