Kampala, Uganda (RTN) -President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni via the weekend announced several people's names to take over top jobs at Kampala Capital City Authority and these included the Executive Director's office.
This comes after more than a year since Jennifer Musisi signed from the position of Executive Director.
In a rather eye-rising move, the president overlooked Mr Andrew Kitaka who has been acting Executive Director to appoint one of the presidential advisors, Ms Dorothy Kisaka to take over as the new Executive Director.
Museveni on the same line also replaced two directors, whose contracts, had expired, it is believed.
Ms Harriet Mudondo, who has been the Director of Gender, Community Services and Production is to be replaced by deputy Lord Mayor Sarah Kanyike while Mr Richard Lule is to be replaced by Ms Grace Akullo as Director of Administration and Human Resource Management.
“We have used integrity hunting to identify the persons mentioned above,” the president said in a widely circulated letter.
A professional lawyer who graduated from Makerere University in 1987, Ms Kisaka practiced law with Kiyimba-Kisaka & Company Advocates between 1999 and 2014. She also has two Master degrees from Uganda Martyrs University and York St John University, UK.
Ms Kisaka before the appointment has been serving as a senior presidential advisor at the Office of the Prime Minister (OPM) where she was tasked with coordinating political and non-political actors to implement public policy.
